
Your support for this ministry is earnestly requested. We service anyone
who comes to our facility. The Brownsville area of Pensacola Florida is one
of the poorest areas in Florida and the gulf coast. Unemployment is very
high and poverty, crime, domestic violence, drug abuse, and illiteracy are
issues that we are attempting to address at Pensacola United
Methodist Community Ministries.

We are taking a holistic approach of serving God thru meeting the
physical, emotional and spiritual needs on the families who we can
reach. Here are but a few of the agencies and ministries that
service the community through PUMCM:

Top of the Bottom Food Ministry- Distribution of
groceries the second Monday of each month.

Angel Food Program- Through Richard’s Memorial
UMC

Clothing Ministry- We distribute clothes to men,
women and children

A.A. Since 1983 Alcoholics Anonymous has been
located at Richards

GED and ABE Programs are administered through
PJC
-
CrossFire Ministry to needy veterans. We assist and
refer men and women to the VA, assist with food,
clothes, counseling.

Interfaith Prison Ministry- Pastor Joe visits those
incarcerated in local jails and prisons.

Assistance with Medications- Meds for Free is a
ministry within PUMCM that helps assist those
individuals with medications.

Vitamin Relief- We have recently been approved to
be a distribution site for vitamins for children. We hope
to get supplies in soon.
